When you register for the auctions up you chose “Ship” or “Pickup” Due to the volume of items per auction we are unable to change your selection after registration.

All items are sent by Canada Post, CANPAR or UPS depending on location, size of parcel and regulations. We do not guarantee delivery times and will not refund shipping charges for parcels that are not delivered by a specific date.

Items will be insured, and a signature required. (unless under $100 and going by letter mail)

Ammunition and Firearms must be shipped to an address on file with the CFO.

We can ship ammunition within Canada ONLY.

Ammunition has to be shipped CANPAR or UPS. This also requires you to give us a physical address, not a PO Box #. Ammunition must be sent to the address on file with the CFO.

Ammunition is heavy and therefore a minimum charge would be roughly $30.00 to ship.

Shipping charge will be determined after preparation. As we need to pack, weigh and measure.

Ammunition and firearms will need to be shipped separately.

Cost to ship a firearm can vary based on value. An example of a $500.00 firearm going to Alberta would cost $50- $75 to ship.

You will be emailed a tracking number when your parcel is shipped.

If your parcel is returned to us, you will be charged for the return fee and a second shipping charge.

You will be charged the actual shipping cost plus taxes.

A boxing and packing fee of $7.50 to $15.00 per box, depending on size of box, will be charged.

Insurance on the value of your item is based on a rate of $2.50 per $100 in value (the first $100 insurance is included in in the base shipping cost). An example is a $600.00 value parcel would cost $15.00 in insurance.

For small items under $100.00 that will fit in an envelope for Canada Post Regulations on Letter Mail, we will charge a flat fee of $10.00 + tax. There will be no insurance and tracking information available on these items. If you require insurance or tracking information, we can ship these in a box at your request.

When you register for the auction you will be asked to select “Shipping” or “Pickup”.   If you select pickup, you will need to email [email protected] or call 613-372-0000 to arrange curbside pickup of your item.

Taxes are charged depending on the province the item is being shipped to. Please see the chart below which shows what HST or GST you will be charged.  Buyers premium will be posted in the auctions description or under the BP and Taxes and Fees button on each listing.

Taxes:

When registering for the auction you will have to enter all 0’s in the PAL field. A PAL is a Canadian Firearms License.

We are not able to ship ammunition, primers, powder or projectiles out of Canada.

You are responsible for all permits, duty and customs charges on items you purchase. For ATF regulated items (firearms) you will have to use an FFL Dealer that has importation rights as well as an exporter in Canada. We can put you in touch with an Canadian Exporter that also has an FFL in the US. Although prices vary, they usually charge $275-$300 Canadian per firearm plus the engraving in the US. Your purchases will be shipped once we have received an approved ATF Form 6.

Non regulated items can ship to the US without issues but you are still responsible for duty and customs fees.

Keep in mind that not all items can be shipped to the USA. Please email us at [email protected] or call the ATF should you have any questions.

Should you purchase an item that ultimately cannot be shipped out of Canada, you are still responsible for all fees and payment. Your item will then be re-auctioned and you will be sent the sale price less the consignment fees.

Storage fees of $5 per month will be charge per item after 60 days.
